Well, it’s finally my turn on the blog tour of the year, for what can only be deemed as THE book of the year!

Dark Minds is the brain child of Betsy and Fred Freeman, the driving force behind Bloodhound Books and is a collection of 41 thrilling horror and crime short stories from some of the most popular and brilliant crime writers around. ALL the proceeds for this book will be going to two fantastic charities, Hospice UK and Sophie’s Appeal , both of which are massively deserving of each and every penny they will receive.

As I’m not an author, there wasn’t really much I could do in terms of offering a story, as an editor though, I offered my services, free of charge, to any author submitting a story to this book.

Never Tell A Lie by Tara Lyons

A little white lie. Can’t really hurt anyone can it?

louise-jensenThe Shoes Maketh The Man by Louise Jensen

We meet Bill who is struggling to cope following the death of his wife. We follow him as he looks on the ever decreasing safety of the world in which he lives.

The Moth Jar by Jim Ody

Tom is trying to leave the office. It’s Friday afternoon and he want’s to get home to spend the evening with his wife and daughter. It really isn’t too much to ask, is it?

All three stories are brilliant!

It is utterly amazing to me how an author can create such a build up of tension and suspense in such a short number of words, but each one of these do! All three stories had me on the edge of my seat and gasping with shock at the endings!

I have read the other utterly amazing reviews for some of these books already and boy oh boy, are you in for a treat!!!!

You can catch up with the previous hosts and the rest of the tour as detailed below.
