I’m thrilled to be sharing my review of Alex Kane’s The Angels today. It’s a fantastic read and one I highly recommend.

My thoughts…

I have been a fan of Alex Kane’s books for years so was excited to be invited on the blog tour.

In The Angels, we meet Amber, who seems to have it all. Beautiful boyfriend, a job she enjoys, and a gorgeous apartment. Until we see a little deeper into her life and realise nothing is as it seems.

Now, without just rehashing the blurb, which tells you everything you need to know about the ladies, there is so much more to this book.

One of my favourite things was the way the women came together to overcome their problems. Three women, from three different backgrounds, all with different things going drastically wrong in their lives, team up to make their own, and each other’s, circumstances, better. This is the ultimate in queens supporting queens and I LOVED it!

Kane has a real knack for pulling you into her character’s heads – her wonderful way with words means you find yourself immersed in their world and feeling everything they feel, seeing what they see, hearing what they hear … which makes for some pretty tense scenes when the action ramps up, I can tell you!

The Angels is a gritty rollercoaster and one which all crime fiction fans should be reading! Go and get your copy now! Huge thanks to the author and team at Hera Books for my spot on the blog tour.
