#BlogTour Do No Harm by Lucy V. Hay @LucyVHayAuthor @OrendaBooks #TeamOrenda #PsychologicalThriller #SleepStealer

Well, Lucy V. Hay has done it again, her debut novel, The Other Twin blew my socks off and she’s hit the nail on the head with her second novel, Do No Harm. It’s outrageously brilliant! A dark, twisty, edge-of-your-seat roller coaster that will completely knock your socks off!

Here’s the blurb …

ORENDA BOOKS (15 Jun. 2018)

Till death do us part…

After leaving her marriage to jealous, possessive oncologist Maxwell, Lily and her six-year-old son have a second chance at happiness with headteacher Sebastian. Kind but vulnerable, Sebastian is the polar opposite of Maxwell, and the perfect match for Lily. After a whirlwind romance, they marry, and that’s when things start to go wrong…

Maxwell returns to the scene, determined to win back his family, and events soon spiral out of control. Lily and Sebastian find themselves not only fighting for their relationship, but also their lives…

Chilling, dark and terrifying, Do No Harm is a taut psychological thriller and a study of obsession, from one of the most exciting new voices in crime fiction.

My thoughts …

Do No Harm is one of those amazing books which makes you completely uncomfortable (in the way only a great psychological thriller can!) from the first page.

Lily and Sebastian are getting married, they are a match made in heaven but as soon as their vows been made, things start going wrong.

But who is doing these vile things to them? Who is trying to sabotage their marriage already?

And why?

As the weeks roll by, more and more things happen to the young couple, pushing them to very limit and making them both revaluate their relationship.

There is tension and intrigue steeped into every page, it’s a complete thrill fest and one you will not be able to put down.

Dealing with the raw emotion that comes from building a new family, Lily and Sebastian seem to have jumped in feet first without thinking everything through even though they seem like the perfect couple. So why does he seem intent on sabotaging them? Or is it him?

Is it Maxwell? Lily’s ex-husband and father to their son. Is he really that hung up on his ex that he’d risk losing his son to break up her new marriage?

When things take a dark turn for Sebastian, he has to spend more and more time away from Lily, conscious of the fact her best friend, Triss, is spending more and more time with her.

As things go from being bonkers to being dangerous, neither Lily nor Sebastian know who they can trust, not even each other anymore.

Told in chapters that swap between Lily and Sebastian and then an occasional chapter from our baddie, the tension builds and builds on each page and every word adds to the bone-chilling sense of foreboding throughout.

Do No Harm is utterly brilliant and one I recommend that you get now now now!!!!!

Huge thanks to the team at Orenda for my review copy and place on the blog tour!
