#BlogTour #Review #SleepTight by Caroline Mitchell @Caroline_Writes @Bookouture

Well, I’ve managed to keep my mouth shut about this book, god knows how as it’s been a while since I read it! I felt like a secret agent at one point, even asking the very lovely Noelle to vet my tweets before I posted them!

Thank goodness the team at Bookouture didn’t have to take me out of action for spilling the beans!

Ruby Preston is back and thankfully, so is my lovely #bookboyfriend, Nathan Crosby (woo hoo!!!)

Now before I start drooling over him again, here’s the blurb …

Bookouture (20 April 2017)

Close your eyes … Just pray you don’t wake up.

A killer stalks the streets of East London. All over the area, murdered young women are discovered, their bodies posed into a sickening recreation of fairytale princesses.

Detective Ruby Preston is determined to hunt down a disturbed individual who is using the women to realise their twisted fantasies. But when body parts are found at the home of her lover, Nathan Crosby, Ruby is torn between her job and her heart.

Convinced that he is being framed, Ruby must catch the killer before Nathan becomes the number one suspect. But as more victims are found, it becomes harder to prove his innocence.

Ruby is in too deep, knowing that the cruel individual is getting ever closer, looking for his next beautiful victim. But can she stop a killer hell-bent on fulfilling their horrific desires – before it’s too late? And how well does she really know the man she loves?

A terrifying, addictive serial killer thriller that will keep you on the edge of your seat, for readers of Angela Marsons, Peter James and Rachel Abbott.

My thoughts …

Let’s get this out of the way now, I love Nathan Crosby (sorry hubby!!)

I do though, there’s just something about this bad-boy with a heart. He’s such a complex character, you really should hate him but it’s just impossible.

Anyway, Ruby Preston and she is back with a bang!

Those who have read the first book in the series will know that Ruby is copper with a past that she must keep hidden from her colleagues, her connection to one of London’s most notorious criminal families must not become common knowledge among her team. So, when the body of a young woman is found and the evidence points to the head of this family, Nathan, Ruby’s childhood sweetheart, Ruby is torn.

She knows Nathan is capable of a lot, but she also knows that he is clever and for him to have left such damning evidence at a crime just doesn’t fit.

Not everyone agrees though. The police have been waiting years for something they can pin on the Crosby’s, especially Nathan, who is a little like Teflon (although happily I’d stick to him!) and they are more than happy to take the ‘evidence’ at face value and get Nathan behind bars.

This leads to one of the most exhilarating story lines! As Ruby tries to find out who is framing Nathan, cause he definitely didn’t kill those girls, did he? … She is racing against the clock to catch the real killer and prove her man innocent.

With a non-stop pace that I have come to love about Caroline’s books, Sleep Tight will have your heart pounding as Ruby and her team try to catch a killer with a penchant for fairytale princesses.

Can they get to him before any more turn up?

I’m not telling you! Get over to Amazon UK now and get your copy, you will not be disappointed!!!

Thank you so much to Noelle and Kim over at Bookouture for my place on the tour, I really appreciate it ladies! And to Caroline, thank you for another amazing book!
